I am always ready to present illustrated talks to groups or societies to promote my work. I have a wealth of interesting material to draw upon. I usually speak for about 90 minutes and I always try to include something of local interest to you. Certainly the stories I present can be tailored to your specific requirements and are always illustrated with photographs and contemporary sources. The talks are usually well received.

I talk about the contents of the book in general and then look at a couple of stories in detail before examining some other unpublished stories.

I usually charge £50 which includes travelling expenses, though I am always ready to negotiate a fee. My only requirement is that I have an opportunity to sell some books! (at £12.50 rather than the rrp of £18.99.)

I can provide some publicity material and will advertise the presentation in different places on the internet.
